The Australian Consulate-General in Chennai is the first international partner and diplomatic mission to support GWASE. Under the AUSBridge partnership, the Australian Consulate-General in Chennai will support incubation for start-up Ananya, the world’s first end-to-end non-invasive intrapartum process monitoring system.  Australian firm 3DotDigital will provide additional mentoring support for GWASE’s cohort of women entrepreneurs.

Attracting women and girls to STEM, and providing an environment for them to thrive and progress, is an objective of the Australian Government under the Australian Academy of Science’s ‘Women in STEM Decadal Plan’. Launched in 2019, the plan is a 10-year roadmap for achieving sustained increases in girls and women’s participation in STEM.
